Mindful Monday: Redeem

Good morning beautiful wonderful people!

Hopefully this post finds you cozy, warm, and enjoying the last few days of January. Today is really chilly, but at least the sun is out! I am juuuuussst about done with my list of projects for the month, but I’m not sure that I’ll end up reaching all the goals I made. But I’m okay with that because I don’t feel like I’m on track to failing. The reason being that even though I might fall short on a few things, I’ve overachieved on a few others. I’m sort of redeeming myself, I guess you could say.

Previously Mentioned

I didn’t do an actual post last week to recap anything, but here goes. I’ve been super tired recently so I’ve done very little that involves being up or out and about. Instead I’ve been staying on my couch and watching television any time that I’m not at work. Super productive, I know.

We had to go out of town for one of my doctor’s appointments this past week. I also had a long weekend, which is always awesome! Apart from that, we’re just back to work, sleep, and lots of t.v.

Up and Coming

  • Obviously achieve/finish all my January projects!
  • Set up my plan for February.
  • Start going for walks in the morning before work.
  • Spend some time with my ponies, weather permitting.
  • Participate in the house chores and with making dinner again.

I’m feeling quite tired right now, but also ready for the new week. Hopefully things go the way they are planned out in my head right now. Good luck to me, I guess?

Things I’m Thinking About

  1. I’m really loving this blog post from Everyday Reading. Such good ideas about how to help yourself feel more comfortable in a new city.
  2. I’m really wanting a cashmere sweater right now. No idea why, but I do.
  3. With as much time as I’m spending resting right now, I’m realizing that I need some new pillows quite badly. What are your favorite recommendations?

What are your goals for this new week?

Love and kindness,

Katharine Marie
