February Goals

Hello beautiful magical people!

For whatever reason, this week feels like it has been dragging on for an eternity. I’m definitely ready for it to be over. But yet somehow, we’ve made it to February already, which is another thing to be thankful for, I guess?

January was a good month overall. I ended up dealing with some stomach problems and so wasn’t able to get as much done as I had planned, but even so, I’m not unhappy with how everything turned out. Click over to January’s post to see how I did on my goals!

Goals for February 2019

  • Continue managing my stomach issues and hopefully feel loads better.
  • Stick to the budget I set for us this month.
  • Put X amount in savings.
  • Hold back EVEN more on my personal spending.
  • Make a weekend trip up to Kansas for a friend’s wedding.
  • Keep journaling – copy poems this month.
  • Take ALL the vitamins every day!
  • Walk twice a week for 15 minutes.
  • Possibly try out an evening routine to help me sleep better.
  • Start getting back out to see my horse again, if my body will let me.
  • Read 4 books.
  • Piano
    • Chopin’s Minute Waltz
    • Satie’s Gymnopedies
  • Publish 6 blog posts here.
  • Finally FINISH writing Donovan’s Quest.
  • Start brainstorming ideas for April’s Camp Nanowrimo.
  • Update my car and student loans.
  • Figure out health insurance.
  • Work on passport process.

I’m keeping my expectations low for February, quite honestly, despite how a lot of that list looks. I’m taking a step back from a lot of things that would require too much physical activity until I get my body back under control, so hopefully that means I can also stay caught up on the less-physically-active areas of life. I’ll work a few Saturdays at my job and hopefully start using my spare time for more than just catching up on Netflix shows. (Grace & Frankie anyone?!)

What are your plans for the second month of this fabulous year?!

Love and kindness,

Katharine Marie
