March Goals

Good morning lovelies!

It’s Friday, its the first day of March, which hopefully means that spring is coming really really soon, and it’s also going to be a super busy day at work for me.

February was a bit of a rough patch, quite honestly, and I did not come anywhere close to finishing the list of goals I had set out for myself. But I’m forgiving myself, I’m allowing myself to do what needs to be done in whatever moment I find myself in, and I’m enjoying each day as it comes. And I needed that attitude for the last few weeks – honestly I still do, but I’m getting ready to step slowly back into my usual routines and habits.

With that in mind, I chose to keep things simple for my actual list of goals this month.

  • I want, and need,┬áto work on loving and forgiving myself during this season of life.
  • I’ve started to pick up my various writing projects again, and I want to keep that momentum going as much as I can: blogging, freelance ideas, essays, etc.
  • Along the same idea… I want to do Camp Nanowrimo in April, so I would love to get a project set up for that.
  • I mentioned going back to college, so this month I’m hoping to figure out where I want to go, which classes I want to take, and decide when I’ll be able to start.
  • We definitely need to crunch some numbers and figure out our budgets and plan for how we’re going to meet our financial goals for the year.
  • I’m super hopeful that I start having more energy this month and can get started on some spring cleaning. It would be fabulous to clean out at least one of my closets and hopefully at least two of my bookshelves.
  • I really ought to start helping with the cooking and cleaning again soon – can’t be letting my poor husband do everything all the time, right?! Just getting back to my normal routines and habits would be awesome, even if it’s a little less than I used to do.
  • Maybe the rain will stay away and I can finally, FINALLY, get some pony time in?!

Sometime closer to the end of the month, I’ll do what I guess amounts to a “quarterly update” of how I feel I’m progressing in terms of my actual 2019 goals. Until then, I guess we’ll just see!

All the love and kindness in the world!
