Mindful Monday: Learn

Hello darling readers! It’s a gorgeous day to be alive!

Since I had to work a full day on Saturday, it made for a super short weekend. Regardless, we tried to make it a good one! It stormed a lot and I was super sleepy most of the time, but I was able to see one of my dear friends and also spend some quality time with my favorite husband. We even spent a few hours driving around and looking at houses that we might be interested in.

Last week was still quite an emotional rollercoaster. Honestly, it feels like I’m dealing with PMS, except it doesn’t go away after a few days. But the past few days have been evening back out again and maybe I’ll be a bit more sane for a while.

I was able to go get everything adjusted at the chiropractor last week, which was awesome, and I got all my grocery shopping done. I’m still not caught up on my Nano project, but I did write a good chunk of words every single day last week, which is progress in my book! Besides that, I also did quite a bit of research and started doing crossword puzzles in the evenings, which, while not a huge improvement from just being lazy, is at least more engaging? I’m not sure. Maybe this week I’ll get my knitting back out.

This Week…
  • We have a midwife appointment on Friday!
  • Write close to my recommended daily words on my Nano project every day.
  • Work on finding us options for where to move.
  • Sort out what our vacation plans are at this point.
  • Cook dinners out of what we have in the house.
  • Maybe I’ll throw out my dead fall plants and get some new ones for this year?

Next week I’ll be back with some more reading recommendations and hopefully another new section for this series. Exciting! And although I should have another blog post up before then, I’ll go ahead and say Happy Easter!!

What do you have going on this week?

Love and kindness,

Katharine Marie
