May 2019 Goals

Hello amazing wonderful readers!

I am currently working through all the last minute house cleaning and preparation and packing before we leave on vacation tomorrow morning, but I couldn’t leave without putting this post up first. I’m so excited to get a week and a half with the husband where neither of us have to work! We’ve been looking forward to the time off for quite a while.

I honestly don’t even know how May is here already. Usually I have my monthly goals figured out about a week ahead of time when I put these posts up, but today I actually woke up and had to look at my phone before I realized that today was the 1st. I say it’s still supposed to be April, but the calendar is proving me wrong.

So without further ado…

Goals for May 2019…
  • Just enjoy our vacation and the time off we have together. Relax, no stress, have fun!
  • More focus on my books, both reading and writing.
  • April was great in terms of the number of blog posts, now I want to up the consistency and quality of them! (Still 6 at a minimum though.)
  • Keep up the regular walking habit.
  • Continue cooking dinner at home most nights of the week.
  • Maintain a mostly clean house.
  • And just because I’m terrible at doing it… unpack immediately after vacation. No waiting for two weeks.

When I’m not so completely distracted by my list of other things to do and I’m back to a more regular schedule, then I’ll go over how April was and how I want to improve things in a lot of ways, but right now? I’m off to clean my house, love on my cats, travel, and enjoy myself!

Love and kindness, always and forever!
