Mindful Monday: Rambling

Hello beautiful people!

My weekend was not exactly exciting. I only had Sunday off after working a full (and busy) Saturday and I spent that short day doing as little as possible. It was nice, but not long enough. As usual.

Last Two Weeks…

Yes, I realize that I didn’t make a Monday post last week. It was Memorial Day, I was off work and it never even dawned on me to blog. My brain was just fried that day.

I’ve definitely not been doing particularly well at reading on a regular basis and I feel kind of sad about that since I’m not sure where else to fit it into my day. When I’m reading nonfiction books I can do a chapter or a few pages every day and get through it eventually, but doing that with fiction books usually ends in me losing interest and eventually forgetting to read at all. Keeping it in the back of my mind for a solution though.

Books aside though, I’ve been doing so much better with maintaining a clean house and keeping up with my planner/bullet journal. One of these days I need to write a post about my new system, which actually has been working really well for me! My anxiety has still been a bit of a mess, but having a tidy house does help a lot.

I also FINALLY was able to sit on my horse. It was only for a grand total of eight minutes and my balance is severely affected by the baby, but it was so lovely to be able to be up there again.

Up and Coming…
  • Finish the paperwork on my car.
  • Choose a project for July’s Camp Nanowrimo.
  • Actually learn how to play some of the songs in ‘Pirates of Penzance’.
  • Make progress on the writing/blogging plans I’m working on (more on that coming soon!)
  • Keep up the energizing morning routine that I’ve started practicing.

That’s all I got for this week, sorry for the short post. Me and The Husband are working on a lot of stuff behind the scenes, so there should be some new content at some point in the near future. Until then…

Love and kindness,

Katharine Marie
